Bartenders
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy connecting with people? As a Bartender at Kalypso, you’ll craft exceptional cocktails, serve beer and wine, and provide friendly, attentive service that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Maintaining a clean, organized bar
- Processing orders accurately and efficiently
- Verifying guest age and following responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Working closely with servers and kitchen staff
Ideal candidates:
- Have previous bartending experience
- Are personable, professional, and dependable
- Can multitask in a high-energy environment
- Have strong communication skills
Hostesses
As the first and last impression for our guests, our Hosts and Hostesses play an important role in delivering exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests with warmth and aloha
- Managing the waitlist and seating guests efficiently
- Answering phones and assisting with reservations
- Communicating with servers and management
- Helping create a welcoming atmosphere
Ideal candidates:
- Have excellent communication skills
- Are friendly, organized, and professional
- Stay calm and positive during busy periods
- Enjoy interacting with people
Bar Backs
Our Bar Backs are essential to keeping the bar running smoothly. If you’re hardworking, organized, and enjoy working behind the scenes, this is a great opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
- Stocking liquor, beer, wine, and mixers
- Restocking ice, glassware, and supplies
- Keeping the bar clean and organized
- Assisting bartenders throughout service
- Emptying trash and maintaining sanitation standards
Ideal candidates:
- Work well under pressure
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Can lift and carry supplies as needed
- Enjoy being part of a team
Bussers
Our Bussers help keep the dining room clean, organized, and running efficiently while supporting the entire front-of-house team.
Responsibilities include:
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Assisting servers with guest needs
- Keeping dining areas clean and stocked
- Refilling water when needed
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant
